Meticulous wood restoration, in Butler, PA

The homeowners in Butler, PA. wanted a House Washing, more specifically the wood ceiling restored to its original state or as close as possible. They stated that they had cleaned it in the past with high pressure, while standing on a ladder. They stated they no longer wanted to risk possible injury from using a ladder and the outcome of using high pressure was less than desirable.

I started the restoration by utilizing a pressure washer but with reduced pressure to remove all the surface dirt and organic growth that was loosely attached. Cleaning solution could not be used during cleaning because it would jeopardize the wood finish of the ceiling and the cedar post/trim nearby. I hand brushed the surface until all the dirt and organic growth were removed and the detail of the wood underneath was revealed that could not be seen prior to the cleaning. When completed, the homeowner were amazed at the finished product.
